With the aim of promoting technological advancement and making a significant contribution to scientific development, our research group brings together highly qualified human resources, formed by a multidisciplinary and integrated team. This team is composed of graduates, master’s and doctoral degree holders, and scientists of different expertises, with the purpose to develop creative and innovative solutions to today’s challenges. Our professionals have extensive experience in strategic areas ranging from plant nutrition and soil health—fundamental to agricultural sustainability—to the modeling, synthesis, and production of substances with potential applications in the development of new inputs and high-impact technologies.

Under the leadership of Professors Ângelo de Fátima and Reinaldo Bertola Cantarutti, the team integrates expertise in organic synthesis, plant physiology, biochemistry, theoretical chemistry, biology, agronomy, microbiology, and biotechnology. This diversity of knowledge enhances the group’s capacity for analysis, experimentation, and innovation, enabling it to address pressing issues in sustainable agriculture, food security, and global health. In this way, we seek to transform science into practical solutions with direct and positive impacts on society.
